In preparation for the re-release of Vengeance of a Slave by Next Chapter (Date as yet unknown) I have unpublished it on Amazon. I will let you know as soon as I have a release date for the new version, with a brand new cover that I agreed on the other day.
I tried unpublishing one of my books from Amazon and it still only allowed some changes. I’d made the page color cream instead of white and hated the proof copy. Am I missing something?

I had no trouble. I went to my bookshelf, clicked the ellipsis on the right after the book. There was an option to unpublish. I clicked it, and there you are.

There are a few items, even unpublished, it won’t let you change, and I’m guessing you didn’t need to touch those. Lucky you! I may have to start over with a new ISBN or just accept the crème page color. Sigh.

You cannot delete a book entirely if it has been published. I wanted to do that. If you’ve not finished the process, and it’s in draft form, you can delete it. But I think you can go in and alter things, can’t you?

They did warn that some items would not be alterable but I couldn’t imagine that would include page color (crème). And a few others. It’s annoying but there’s probably a reason. Sigh.
